If you have a fear, a worry, or a concern, buy or make a carving caricaturozing that fear, and then be rid of the feelings. When I had new neighbors moving in, I carved this guy and gave him to them. They are now my good friends.

I have done some memorial carvings for people who have lost loved ones, and I think the healing process was helped gratly by these small packets of memories which they can hold in their hand.

The top two pendants and the ruler are carved. The bottom two pendants have a copper wire loop for a necklace. They were meant to be Saint Christopher.

Most of tjese decorations are made simply and cheaply, for the plain reason that it is what people can afford, but commissioned pieces may be more intricate.

Portraits.

I carve portraits of people, whom I call “my victims.”

Anybody who you know who has a good sense of humor would love one of these.

These guys usually come with a big head, and can have most hats. Wizard or gnome hats are highly recommended!

You can order em extra silly or ask for your friends idiosyncratic feature to be caricaturized.

Bigger projects.

I do carve hawthorne and other hardwood walking sticks with spirits and faces occasionally. I call it letting the spirit loose from the stick. I also can carve more large or serious stuff if you like, such as portraits in wood, wood spirits, flat plane carvings and more classic fare. Anything you want that would be hand carved [without power tools] give us a try.

Any idea will be tried and the commission fee is very small.
